This sample library represents the diversity of work in the photographic portfolio of the artist.

Michael bought his first camera when he was 17 years old in 1956 and has been photographing various subjects since that first experience.

He retired from a career in architecture which spanned 35 years since his graduation from the University of California at Berkeley in 1968. He has since formally turned an avocation into a business in San Francisco and has photographed weddings, quinceaƱeras, communions, Cinco de Mayo & Carnaval festivals, individual and corporate portraiture. He also has an interest in macro photography. Michael utilizes digital technologies and creates posters and blank photo cards as part of his design work.

He has volunteered his services to the Mission District Head Start program in San Francisco. His mornings are spent in the classroom where he incorporates his building experience as an architect in the form of play therapy which has enhanced the program. In 2006 he received a Certificate of Honor from Mayor Gavin Newsom for his volunteer work in the Head Start Program.
